Summer is a great time to introduce projects to kids since the weather works in your favor regardless of where you travel, which makes it a win-win during those crucial summer months.

When little kids make crafts, something about their little fingers makes everything extra special. I love when my son comes home from daycare and hands me something he did that day.

I can hang it on the wall or the fridge and keep it for years. Some of the crafts are so good that we give them to his grandparents so they can also have some of my son’s creations in their home.

Craft projects are another way for the whole family to have fun. It’s a great way to get kids of all ages to work on their fine motor skills, and it’s so much fun.
