Easy Summer Crafts for Toddlers
Summer is a great time to introduce projects to kids since the weather works in your favor regardless of where you travel, which makes it a win-win during those crucial summer months.
When little kids make crafts, something about their little fingers makes everything extra special. I love when my son comes home from daycare and hands me something he did that day.
I can hang it on the wall or the fridge and keep it for years. Some of the crafts are so good that we give them to his grandparents so they can also have some of my son’s creations in their home.
Craft projects are another way for the whole family to have fun. It’s a great way to get kids of all ages to work on their fine motor skills, and it’s so much fun.

Regardless of where you are located, the warm weather makes it ideal to even create some of the crafts outside, like at a local park. You can use some branches, leaves, dirt, and grass to create your own design.
Younger kids will enjoy an easy peasy craft like this because everything is already outside, and once they are finished, they can go play to burn off the rest of their energy.
You can even reward your toddler for completing the craft with ice cream. If your toddler doesn’t like ice cream (trust me, my toddler could care less), you offer another reward for completing the crafts.
I try not to offer too much candy, so a tasty treat or snack works better than a ton of candy. Sometimes, you have to use candy.
