If you look around your home, your favorite amazon products are simple and functional. January was a special month because my son’s birthday was the first day of the new year. It’s been amazing the past two years because my son has been gifted so many products. For January, I wanted to outline which products really came in handy and why I love them so much.
I’ve been using some of these products since my son was a toddler. Others have become my favorite more recently because of what it is doing for my son’s development now that he is two years old.
This post is my favorite amazon products for toddlers in January.
Top Products for Toddlers
First Nuk Sippy Cups
These sippy cups are great for teaching your kids how to drink from a cup because they provide proper tongue placement for good oral health. We were first introduced to the cups when my son’s feeding specialist mentioned these would be great for post-frenectomy (lip and tongue tie removal). These cups are great for babies transitioning from bottle to cup.
The cups have a stopper that prevents liquid from leaking out of them, and you don’t have to put a top on the cups, which makes them convenient for traveling. We’ve ordered several cups, they come two in a pack, and we take them everywhere we go and even send them to the daycare with our son.
Finding a toddler toothbrush can be challenging because of the shape and size but Colgate has a really good toothbrush that my husband and I like to use for our son. The toothbrush comes in different designs for boys and girls and you can find these toothbrushes everywhere.
I will say that because your toddler is at the stage of just learning how to brush their teeth, you will go through the toothbrush earlier than the three-month mark. It pack comes with two toothbrushes and that should get you through the three-month mark before you have to buy another toothbrush.
Toddler Drawing Board
The drawing board has really come in handy when my son wants to draw and scribble all over the place. Based on the pressure applied to the drawing board you can make light lines or bold lines and it scribbles in different colors.
When you press the center button, the board erases and allows your child to start all over again drawing with their imagination. The board comes in different colors and sizes that you can get your child. I also like that you can lock the screen so that you can prevent the screen from getting scribbles and other marks on the board.
VTech Activity Desk
I can’t say enough great things about the activity desk. I have done a full review on my youtube channel about the desk and the reasons I love the desk. If you are looking for something that is going to help your toddler develop language, sight words, and motor skills this desk has it all. You can also get the expansion pack which includes more templates for the table, blocks, cubes, and more interactive ways to use the desk.
The desk is battery operated and the desk and chair are really easy to put together. I will say the legs on the chair are really easy to pull apart so be prepared for your toddler to use the legs for everything that is not for chair purposes. We have used the legs as elephant trunks, swords, and putters for playing golf.

Potty Training Seat
My husband and I got this at the beginning of January and it quickly became one of my favorite products. Once your child hits two, you will notice that sometimes they may show interest in going to the potty and this seat is the new way of potty training.
Having the small potty in the bathroom was not something my husband and I were interested in when potty training our son. We wanted something that would be more sanitary especially because we have a dog and based on our son’s personality and what daycare is teaching, this was the best way to go about the early stages of potty training.

After going to the bathroom, we tell our son, “potty” and he will run to the potty, crawl up and sit for a few minutes at a time. We don’t force the issue with our toddler and we have seen that it’s been a great tool in introducing the potty to him. It comes in different sizes and is adjustable.
