How to Rock i play Green Sprouts Swim Wear this Summer

I cannot wait to share this review post with you! When Green Sprouts gifted my son, Noah, with items, from the, i play collection. I was excited because I knew you would love them! 

This summer, my family and I went to Williamsburg, VA, and used the i play by Green Sprouts items. We were gifted a few things, including a reusable swim diaper, hat, and swim pants. I will be referencing all the sizes in this post for 3T for toddlers.

Green Sprouts is a company my family has used for a while. They have some of the best baby products on the market. When my son was in his infancy, the bibs were top-tier.

Not only did we use these items at Water Country USA, but we also used the items in the public pool at the resort. Green Sprouts is one you should try if you are looking for a full line of baby products.

Below I’ll she sharing the following reasons why yet again, Green Sprouts has done a great job with this line for baby’s active play and toddlers.

Disposable Swim Diapers

Don’t get me wrong. My husband and I have used some excellent swim diapers before getting i play reusable swim diapers. Now that we have reusable swim diapers, we won’t be going back.

One of the things that we enjoyed about the swim diaper is that it created less waste. My husband and I are potty training our 2.5-year-old, so when he put on the reusable diaper, we found that his behavior in the diaper changed.

One thing, he was less likely to do number two in the diaper since, to him, it wasn’t a regular diaper. The swim diaper prevented having a rash from keeping on the regular diaper for too long.

Another thing we enjoyed was the easy-lock side snaps. The easy-lock snaps made it so easy to put the reusable diaper on and off that my son was less fussy when made for a better time at the water. Since it’s a lightweight diaper, it fits nicely under my son’s clothes, and you wouldn’t know any different.

We all had much more fun by not having to do so many diaper changes. It’s one of the toddler products I’ve been recommending to my mommy friends, especially if your child is in swimming classes or if you frequent the beach.

The swim diaper allowed my son to have all his freedom of movement, which was important. The i play reusable swim diapers come in a wide variety of classic colors. You can pick a color that matches what your toddler currently has for their bathing suit or other swim items.

Sun Hats for Kids

If I didn’t mention it before, you could machine wash all of the i play by Green Sprouts products, which is excellent when traveling. We used our everyday laundry products, and there was no change to the color or integrity of any of the items.

The i play sun hat has a wicking liner that allows the hat to dry quickly, keeping them comfortable while they wear it. My son had the sun hat for an entire day, and not once was he playing with it to try and take it off.

Since my son wore the sun hat the whole day, we knew he had secure protection from the sun; it was 90 degrees the day we went to Water County, USA, and the remaining days we were at the pool.

The sun hat also protects against UV rays which you can’t go wrong as kids’ skin burns faster than older children and adults. The hat provided a snug fit, so we didn’t have to worry about it falling off. The sun hat does come with straps, but we didn’t have to tie the tie strap too tight for it to stay on and feel secure.

The sun hat isn’t made with bulky fabric. Sometimes we forgot my son had the hat because he never tugged on it, and that was the first use of the hat.

My husband and I were glad we didn’t have to worry about the consequences of extreme temperatures with the hat because it provided full coverage. My son didn’t wear sunglasses and could still see and have a great time.

Swim Shorts for Toddlers

Now let’s get into the I play. Baby Swim & Sun Shorts. Currently, my son is in 2T clothing in the i play. Baby Swim & Sun Shorts was in 3T. While it was a little big on him, it didn’t fall or anything like that.

You can pair the shorts with a standard swimsuit (which we did). It didn’t take away the integrity of the shorts or the outfit, and because my son had on a swim vest, you couldn’t see the shorts most of the time.

We had the swim diaper underneath the shorts, and you couldn’t tell. The shorts are of soft cloth. The shorts don’t have an adjustable toggle, so if you find that the shorts don’t fit well, you might have to size down or wait until your child grows in them.

The founder of Green Sprouts is a mom, so I appreciate the attention to detail regarding these shorts. Sometimes it can be hard to find a lifestyle brand that understands what parents need for their growing children, but Green Sprouts does excellent.

Most of the time, we get our Green Sprouts products from Amazon. For us, this has been the most reliable method of getting our products. If you order from Grenn Sprouts, their return policy is pretty good.

Overall the i play by Green Sprout’s sun wear line is a hit and didn’t disappoint. My family has used Green Sprouts for over two years, and we’ve never had any issues with their products.

After our days at the water parks and pools, I’m enrolling my son in swim lessons and will use these items. Considering their bibs and burp cloths held up when my son was younger. I don’t see any issue with the swimwear. I will follow up should there be an Issue.
