new year, new business, new woman new year, new business, new womanWith 2020 now in the review view mirror, I’m ready to continue to build on the momentum that I started last year.

What I have learned is that it’s all in the mindset. I will no longer speak negatively when talking about 2020 or any year prior.

Yes, 2020 had challenges. Every year does; for 2021, it’s all about speaking and moving in light and positivity. That is the only way I will achieve my goals for 2021.

I’ve set very aggressive business goals for 2021. One of the things I learned from 2020 was that I lacked motivation. Outside of my postpartum anxiety, which still trickles in from time to time, I didn’t have any goals until I started viewing the blog as a business.

I think back to when I had aspirations and real goals, which is when I excelled personally and professionally. So I knew going into 2021, I needed to do the same if I wanted to move forward.

Below are 4 things to expect from accordingtoapril.com and my business in 2021:

  1. More behind the scenes of my life: I’m a private person by nature because I am introverted. I keep things that I love close to the vest. This year I want to pull the curtain back more so that you see ME.
  2. More partnerships and collaborations: I started in late Q3 2020 by getting brand deals, and it solidified that you really love to hear what works for my family and me.
  3. More products: In December, I launched two digital products, the 5 Ways to Time & Productivity Checklist and the Daily Authenticity Checklist. Both have received rave responses, which is the queue to add more in the coming year.
  4. More cohesive content on all platforms: When you start something, do throw things at the wall to see where it lands. Now that, accordingtoapril.com has a vision, my story will convey better no matter where you find my content.

I’m so excited about where we are this year. Know that this post was to keep you in the loop about what to expect from me and my platform as we advance. To grow, we have to continue to modify and readjust. That is what I am bringing to you this year.

Happy New Year, tribe!
