Fall is my season. I loved going shopping and getting new clothes when I was younger. Now I have the chance to do this with my toddler, and the toddler fall fashion that I have seen is unmatched.

I always try to make sure that I get pieces that can easily transition to winter. Living in the northeast, it goes from fall to winter real quick. Picking out pieces for my winter baby has to be strategic since he is in-between sizes.

Sweater Vests

Who doesn’t love a lovely sweater vest? I wear them all fall and winter, and my toddler will be doing the same. What’s great about them is that if it’s on the warmer side, you can take them off, and if it’s on the cooler side, you can put them back on and not have to worry.

They also make great toddler fall fashion because you can get a few neutral colors and ear them over everything, and you will feel like you have extended their wardrobe for years to come.

TODDLER FALL FASHION

Jogger Pants

Sweatpants for kids are for the win. When you don’t have time to put them in an actual fall outfit, you can slip them into one of these and be off to your destination.

I also love that they come in so many colors and can go with anything significant because sometimes when they are playing, you want them to be in something casual; these are great options.

Cardigan Set

I’ve always loved a good cardigan, and to see that they have them for young toddlers was awesome. Cardigans are the perfect substitute for a sweater. The material is not as heavy, and this also comes in many colors.

These cardigans from Carters are so great. They come in so many styles. And for every age from newborn to 24 months which is perfect for my toddler.

Cotton PJs

In the summer, it’s all about shorts, but the fall is all about the long selves. These PJs are so cute and warm that they will also work well for the winter months.

When looking for PJs, the hubs and I try to pick pieces that look nice and wear nice ones. I try to choose colors that also resonate with fall, like reds, yellows, and browns.

Toddler Fall Fashion Socks

These socks are the best! They are in all the fall colors and hues and go with any outfit. If you have a toddler, you know they go through socks. So you can never go wrong with getting a few packs of socks.

I get the socks that come up to the calves, but you can also get ankle socks and the high socks, but these are my favorite. They come just high enough that if the pants don’t come down far enough will add a bit of protection.

Swim Wear

Yes, you can still go swimming in the fall, and with indoor swimming lessons still in full effect, this is my favorite one that I got for my toddler.

I usually pick swimwear that is long sleeves so that if we need to travel and it’s a light breeze, my toddler will have coverage. The long sleeves also provide excellent SPF protection.

Bodysuit Pant Set

Bodysuits come in handy, especially when your little one becomes a toddler. That is because they can take off their socks, shoes, and diaper (yes, it will happen), so you want to have something they can’t take off quickly.

These also allow you to have a quick outfit and not have to worry about it. The mornings can be busy, especially for back-to-school, so having a quick pick will save you so much time.

Overalls

Another great staple is overalls. You can put anything on, and it will look so cute and unique. They come in jeans, corduroys, and khaki that you can find something they like. These are also unisex, so boys and girls will look great in them.

Last year, my toddler was too young to wear them and appreciate it, but you miss out if you haven’t seen a little on overalls.

So happy that the outside is open, and we can take our toddler out to enjoy the fall weather. Hopefully, we will be able to go out for Halloween and get some lovely treats this year!
